I was thoroughly impressed by the defense - 2 fast breaks is all they got. That'll put a dent in that 92 ppg stat. My friend Kevin said they're just not used to playing teams that put up a good defensive showing. I kind of got the feeling that they came into Cameron knowing that they had it sewn up, then got their asses handed to them for the first four minutes.
Oh, and I had to watch the game with Billy Packer.
Imported on behalf of: Lee I count two testicles. Seems to add up, though YMMV.
Anybody else wake a baby celebrating?
Dan: It was Dukie V. for us. We've been enjoying a nearly Packer-free existence up here in VA. Last year we had to listen to him all the time. Not sure what we've done right.
Ditto the wishes of a speedy recovery for Sharkman.

ReplyDeleteAh, the look of disappointment on McPants's face is beautiful.
I thought that was Duke's best defensive effort this year--maybe in the last couple of years.

ReplyDeletesay, webmaster, could you delete that extra post (double click, not double injury).
the celebration was a near-silent paroxysm to *avoid* waking baby. that, plus the restrictive garments that minneapolis weather necessitates.
