Coinages

One of the great pleasures of sharing a house with a two year old is the deformation of language used around the house. (The other great pleasures? Give me a minute . . . .) To wit:

Fuzzle

Mawnmower

MneeƱer

Poppy

Tea cuddle

Dinohorse!

I see nothing wrong with those pronunciations!

I always forget the tilde on Mneener...

How about place names -- there's Ick and Donalds (McDonalds), Chick-alay, and many more...

Oh, I think you mean McNonald's.

For a long time Thing Two called an elephant a selephutn. I was kinda sad when he started pronouncing it correctly.

No, no, it's Ick-Donald's here, too.

Told recently, by the young'n's best friend, that what I was doing with the basketball was "nibbling."
